Private tours - Traverse of the Lyskamm’s nose


A suggestive traverse that develops at the foot of the south faces of the Lyskamm, passing through the Naso (4272 m). This route is one of the most important parts of the historic "Mezzalama Trophy" ski mountaineering competition, which takes place every two years in spring.
Walking along it you can admire the glacial environment of the Felik and Lys glaciers and enjoy a wide view of the Monte Rosa massif.

Program
1st day. Meeting with the guide at the ticket office of the Staffal lifts at 2.30 pm, check of the materials and ascent with the lifts to the Bettaforca pass (2700 m). Departure on foot to the Quintino Sella refuge (3585 m), which can be reached in about 3 hours 30 of walking. Dinner and overnight.
2nd day. Departure at dawn and arrival in about 5 hours at the Città di Mantova Refuge (3498 m). After a stop, return to Punta Indren and subsequent descent with the ski lifts to Staffal. Arrival expected at about 4.30 pm.

Difficulty: PD - glacier crossing, ascent of a steep slope (max 40 °) and depending on the conditions part of mixed.

Prices
510 € one person + 60 € for each additional person
Maximum number of participants: 4 for each guide.

The fee includes:
accompanying the guide, rental of ice ax, harness and crampons.
The fee does not include: the ski lifts, half board for the guide and customers in the refuge, drinks and extras at the refuge, lunch.
