Private tours - Traverse of the Lyskamm’s nose
Suggestive traverse under the South faces of the two Lyskamm and then up to the top of the Lyskamm’s nose (4272 m). This is part of the itinerary of the popular historic ski mountaineering competition "Trofeo Mezzalama”, which takes place every two years.
This ascent allows to discover the glacial environment of the Felik and Lys glacier and to admire a complete view on the Monte Rosa massif.
Day 1: meeting with the guide in front of the ticket office of the lift in Staffal at 2.30 pm, check of the equipment and ski lift to Bettaforca pass (2700 m). Departure to Quintino Sella hut (3585 m) that will be reached in around 3 hours and a half walking. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: departure at dawn and arrival after around 5 hours at Mantova hut (3498 m). Brief stop, descent to Punta Indren and the Staffal. Arrival at Staffal at4.30 pm approximately.
Difficulty: PD – first part on glacier, then a steep (max 40°) slope and depending on the condition a mixed rock and snow part.

510 € 1 person + 40 € every extra person
Maximum number of participants: 4 each Alpine Guide.
The rate includes: private guiding fees, rent of axe, crampons and harness.
The rate excludes: ticket of the lifts, half board in the hut for client and guide, beverage and extras in the hut, lunch for the guide and the client.
