Monte Rosa tour - Swiss version
Monte Rosa Tour – Swiss version: Giordani peak, refuge Mantova, crossing of the Lyss pass, Margherita hut, descent on the Grenz Glacier till Monterosa Hutte, Nordend and descent to Zermatt, refuge Teodulo, Breithorn, descent of Cime Bianche valley, Champoluc, ski lift to Bettaforca pass, arrival in Gressoney-La-Trinité.
Departure: from the arrival of the ski lift of Cresta Rossa/Punta Indren 3270 m.
Group: 3 people max.
Rate: 1350 €.
The rate includes: private guiding fees, safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe).
The rate excludes: ski-climbing skins, ticket of the lifts, half board in the hut for client and guide, beverage and extras in the hut.
Day 1: meeting with the guide, ski lift to Punta Indren (3270 m). Ascent of Giordani peak 4046 m and then to Mantova hut (3498 m). Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: ascent to Lyss pass and Margherita hut (4554 m). Descent to Monterosa Hutte 2883 m, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: ascent to Nordend (4609 m), descent to Zermatt and with the lift till refuge Teodulo. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: ascent to Breithorn occidentale (4165 m), descent to Champoluc through the Cime Bianche valley, arrival in Gressoney using the ski lifts and skiing off pist.
Clothing: high altitude clothes (waterproof and windproof jacket, light down jacket, polar pile or equivalent, thermal underwear, windproof pants, sunglasses, warm ski hat, warm ski gloves, a change).
Equipment: crampons, harness, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe (available from the guide), ski touring skis and shoes, climbing skins (can be rented).
