Summer ascents on the glacier
Here a list of gear and clothes that you should have to spend one or more days at heights.
The objects marked with a * are necessary only if you will spend the night in a hut.

- Backpack 30 liters
- Harness
- Ice axe
- Crampons with antibot
- Mountaineering boots with rigid sole
- Headlamp
- Trekking poles
- Lightweight sleeping bag liner (no heavy sleeping bak, you will find blankets in the hut)
- Sunglasses (very dark)
- Suncream and lip balm
- Hat
- Warm gloves (ok ski gloves)
- Light gloves
- Breathable t-shirt
- Pile or windstopper sweater
- Waterproof/wind shell racket (for example in Goretex)
- Down jacket
- Climbing pants, if light take a long underwear
- Socks
- Gaiter
- One more T-shirt
- A change of socks
- First aid kit (we recommend an analgesic for headache like aspirin + compeed or plaster in case of blisters)
- Digital camera
- 1 liter water bottle or a thermos
- Something to eat during the ascent (bars, dried fruits, chocolate, biscuits …as you prefere!)
- Lightweight toilet kit (toothbrush and toothpaste, a little towel)*
 
Our advice about clothes: wear several layers of clothing, prefere a breathable clothes directly on your skin to eliminate sweat, then a warm pile or sweater and in case of wind or rain the jacket to protect you from the weather adversities.
